Kookaburra Cottage was cosy and spotlessly clean, with a roomy bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. The heated blanket was especially nice. There’s plenty of outdoor space around it, including a big lawn, a dam full of birds and frogs, and a gazebo with a BBQ area. The cottage sits among green surroundings with vineyards nearby, and Roseann is a lovely, excellent host.

We were here for two nights for a wedding and arrived to a really generous spread: freshly baked bread, jam, bacon, eggs, milk, butter, juice, Tim tam, and more. The bread and jam were delicious, and the tea selection was amazing! The beds were comfy and the shops are close by. Do yourselves a favour and stay at Dixiglen. Highly recommended 🩵🩵🩵

Roseann, thank you so much for hosting us. We had a wedding on the 8th of January, and the accommodation suited us brilliantly. It was just perfect for what we needed, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thanks again.

A spacious, quiet cabin in a great location, and the fireplace kept the whole place warm. The owners are really nice, and I loved arriving to homemade jam and bread. The breakfast supplies were fantastic and made the stay even better. It’s a lovely place for families. Hope to stay again one day!

Roseanne made this place feel special. She even drove us to a few places herself after realizing we had no car, and that really touched us. The homemade bread and jams were lovely, and she bottles her own honey too, so buy a jar or two. About an hour from the CBD, Dixiglen Farm was a peaceful break from the noise and rush of city life. We liked it so much we extended our stay. I can't recommend it enough.
