Having a private yard and a central spot made it easy to explore Melbourne on foot. The apartment had a stove, microwave and cutlery, so I saved a lot by buying groceries and cooking. It had just been painted, the air con worked well, and the shower pressure was fine. The bed was really comfortable, and I slept well. Staff were friendly, helpful when needed, and otherwise left me be. There was one small issue with a cupboard door catching on the hinge, but the stay was well worth it. I hear it’s under new management, and they’re doing a great job. I’m looking forward to coming back.

We’ve been coming here since 2023 and plan to keep staying here. Our twin shared room was spacious, comfortable, clean and respectable, and the kitchenette was just right. We stayed for six nights and seven days this time. Parking is free, and the staff go out of their way to meet individual needs. English is spoken very well. Thanks to John and the other staff for making our stay so comfortable and for everything you did for us.

This was the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. We booked a superior queen, but the room didn’t live up to that. The cooker was broken, paint was peeling off the walls, and there were big chips in the kitchen tiles. The bathroom door had a hole in it. We could hear the laundry running all night, and a dog howled through the night too. We complained several times, and it’s now with our travel agent and Expedia. Please don’t stay here.

The rates were amazing for somewhere so central to many Melbourne attractions. On my first stay at Parkville Place, Tee, the manager, was very accommodating, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Melbourne. Highly recommended.

Our room at Parkville Place Serviced Apartments was just what we needed for a short, comfortable stay, and the location made it easy to get around. From the beginning to the end, the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it.
