Amanda replied very quickly to all my questions by email, which made us feel valued. The apartment was clean, well kept, close to everything, and suited our group of 7 adults. It's only a short tram ride to the city centre, and the price was very reasonable. Most of the beds were very comfortable, though the extra one was just a base and wasn't comfortable to sleep on. Thanks for a great stay. We'll definitely stay again and recommend it to people we know.

It was a modern, three-storey semi-detached apartment with all the amenities we needed, including a coffee maker and laundry facilities. The bedding, linen, and towels were clean, though we did find some sand on the sofa. The location is on the edge of St Kilda Beach, so the views aren't ideal. With three storeys, it may not suit elderly guests. We were happy with the accommodation.

The apartment had heaps of space, and check-in was easy. The location was fantastic, but several facilities let us down during our week with family. The dishwasher and stovetop grill didn't work, an air conditioning unit leaked water in the bedrooms, and the dining chairs were in horrible condition, with tattered fabric shedding across the apartment. We appreciated that our reports were followed up and attempts were made to fix things, but nothing could be repaired. It needs work before it matches the luxury accommodation it's advertised as.

The location worked well for our family holiday, between the beach and walking distance from the train station. We had a few issues, but were pleased with how they were handled. It was very hot, so we asked for another fan and it arrived that afternoon. When the microwave stopped working, a replacement came the next day. Customer service was very good. We found email was the best way to communicate and would definitely consider Espresso apartments again. The address was 2/92 Tennyson Street, Elwood, Melbourne.

We arrived at 8/26 Outer Crescent, Brighton for 4 nights and were shocked to find the apartment had been broken into before we got there. The lights were all on, the patio door stood open, and the living area, kitchen, and ensuite bathroom were a complete mess. We phoned Espresso, and a cleaner came over. She said there was no other accommodation available and assured us the intruders wouldn't come back, though we weren't sure about that. We went out for a couple of hours and returned to find the apartment cleaned, but we still didn't feel comfortable or secure that first night. It wasn't a pleasant experience.
