Flagstaff City Inn

The carpet looked quite dirty, and the hotel overall could use some maintenance. My room was fairly large and the bathroom was okay. It was nice to have a hairdryer, iron and ironing board included. Reception was excellent and let me check in two hours early, which helped a lot after my morning flight to Melbourne and barely any sleep.

The room was just what I expected, basic but with what you need, and the location is handy if you’re going to an event at Etihad. The bed was comfortable enough, the pillow was okay and the bathroom was neat and clean. The TV was very cheap and tricky to use, but it worked. Check-in and checkout were quick and simple, and the staff were kind. I’d stay again.

Good price and close to everything. It was easy to find, just a quick walk from the train station, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and I was happy with the kitchen. There’s no lift, and the narrow staircase was awkward with a suitcase. Upstairs, the first thing I saw was a pot plant with a dead plant in it, and it looked like someone had been sick there. The room was very dusty and needed a proper clean. The fan had a thick layer of dust on it.

The room was clean and nice, just big enough for a couple. The hotel is close to everything, with Indian and Pakistani restaurants within walking distance. There’s a limited amount of free parking, which is a real plus for this location. Managers Mauris and David were polite, respectful and great with customer service. They even let me leave my car for another three hours after checking out at 10 am. There’s no lift, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs. I’m not sure whether the property is wheelchair friendly.
