Save yourself the trouble and money, and stay somewhere else. The apartment was a tiny, dingy 2 bedroom, nothing like the photos, and the parking wasn’t connected to it, so we had to pay another 25 per day separately. I could have paid the same amt to stay somewhere much better with my dog. First they told me dogs weren’t allowed, then said I could bring one for 300. We saw plenty of dogs in the building, so apparently they were allowed after all. Then they charged another 200 deposit fund, calling it a dog cleaning fee because they said he had peed. What was the 300 cleaning fee for? They’re part of the spencer street apartment booking adverts on agoda and booking.com.

My family booked 3 separate rooms. Ours was probably the best, clean and quite a big apartment for 4 people. My brother’s apartment wasn’t clean when we arrived, with a dirty nappy in the bin. There were holes in the walls, the sofa bed was broken and the toaster didn’t work. Staff weren’t very helpful. It was a little hard to find, and I would have preferred reception to be in the same building.

My friends and I had a long weekend at Flagstaff Green Apartments on my first trip to Melbourne in a few years, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment was in good condition and a very good price. Both staff members I met at check-in and checkout went out of their way to help and make things easy. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Melbourne.

The apartment was spacious and clean, with a full kitchenette. I stayed for a week, and it was an easy walk to Queen Victoria Market, the Skybus station and Melbourne Central. I’d definitely stay again.
