Reception was great, but this place needs a lot of work. I picked it because it was the closest cheap option near Yarrambat, and the pictures look way better than it does in person. I was out most of my two-night stay, basically just showering and sleeping, and even that was pretty bad. The room smelled horrible, like someone had thrown up in room 23. Everything was old, dirty, worn or broken. The bed was uncomfortable, and the shower felt like being hosed down with a gerni. Road noise was crazy loud, like sleeping in the middle of Bathurst. I know there’s a lot of construction at the moment, but it was still hard to sleep. I thought it’d be good enough for a quick sleep and shower, but I won’t stay again. I’ll pay extra to go somewhere else.

We just needed a quick, easy place to sleep, and this was decent basic accommodation for that. The bed was clean, though the couch looked like it had come out of a shed.

The pool was green and had leaves and rubbish in it even though there was a cover. There were spiders, cobwebs, and opened coffee and sugar. The TV needed tuning, too. Only a dribble of hot water came from the spa tap, so we had to use the kettle to help fill it.

Keep this as a last resort. The flyscreen was broken, the chairs looked like roadside verge pickups, the shower head was small and cheap, and the TV was very basic.

They’re renovating, so hopefully the rooms get some good upgrades. For our overnight stay during a hospital visit in Melb, it was okay. The linen was fresh and clean, and the cleaning staff do their best with what they have. The online pictures don’t show what to expect, though. The place needs a lot of work and is probably overpriced as it stands.
