Hart's Farm

We enjoyed trying Hart’s Farm's range of ciders at the tasting. There were lots to sample, and we picked up a few for our road trip. They make some lovely flavours.

We dropped into Hart’s Farm on the way back to our campsite after visiting T’Gallant Winery, and Graeme welcomed us into the tasting area. He took us through seven ciders, all very distinctive, and was full of energy and knowledge about how cider is made. He answered all my questions and was happy to share what he knew. It was such a unique, affordable experience. I absolutely loved the Cidre De Glace and was glad to buy a bottle to take home. I'd recommend booking ahead, and we'd love to come back to the farm next time we're on the peninsula.

It's been a few years since I first found this place, but I still order a case of the spiced cider nearly every year. Back then I was working in Mornington for a week, the weather was miserable, and a day off left me looking for something to do. An online search turned up this intriguing brewery. The owner welcomed me and offered a few cider tastings, and I fell for the spiced one.

Such a lovely highlight of our day. The tasting was brilliant, with a delicious selection of cider, vinegar, jams and oils. I'll definitely come back and order online again as well as enjoying what I bought.
