Hub Hostel

My friends and I stayed here for 20 days while looking for a house, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The kitchen is really big and has a dishwasher, and the beds are comfortable. I’m very happy with all the staff, especially Ignacio (Iggy), who’s been helpful and nice from the start. Great hostel in Melbourne!

If you’re in Melbourne and want somewhere nice to stay, try this place. It’s just outside the city centre but still close, with good public transport, and that location suits me perfectly. I stayed while working on the Royal Melbourne Show and was pleasantly surprised by how relaxed and pleasant the atmosphere was. It’s clean and quiet, with lots of room and a very well equipped kitchen, even a walk-in fridge. I’d definitely recommend it if you want a break from party hostels.

The common area is a lovely spot to hang out, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a nice new hostel where you feel at home. The rooms are well organized and the bathrooms are fairly clean. The kitchen can get messy because of other guests, but staff clean it several times a day, which is reassuring. It’s a bit far from the CBD, and that’s part of why it works: it’s not a party hostel, so you can rest properly and sometimes have a party with other guests while still being considerate. I’ll definitely stay there next time I’m in Melbourne!

It feels safe and comfortable here, and I can really relax around the people. Hub hostel has created the next best thing to home, from the king singles to how immaculately clean everything is. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else when I travel to Melbourne. Thanks for all the great times here, and keep up the good work.
