ibis Melbourne Central

The room was quiet and clean, and I enjoyed the TV’s Chromecast feature. All the staff were lovely and helpful, and I had a good stay overall. I just wish there were more supplies in the room, like a toothbrush and toothpaste. Breakfast was good but could offer more variety for the price. There’s also a restaurant, though it’s quite expensive and the menu lacks variety. I wasn’t keen on the automated check-in and checkout. When I had questions, I had to ask the Novotel staff, and using a machine felt impersonal. I’d stay again.

The team were so helpful when my Uber couldn't reach the entrance. They found the driver and carried my bags out to the car. Check-in was quick, and everyone was lovely and professional. My room was clean and comfortable, with tea, a kettle and fridge, plus a complimentary upgrade. The blackout curtains helped, and it stayed quiet despite the central location. The gym had a decent range of equipment. I'd happily stay at Ibis again.

The breakfast is worth prepaying for, with lots of choices and fresh juice. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with enough space for two and medium-sized bags. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the facilities felt like good value for the price. There's a lively street full of restaurants just steps from the entrance, and we could walk to so many places. I'd stay here again when I'm back in Melbourne.

Getting around on foot was easy from here. We walked to the NGV, about 30 minutes away, and explored Melbourne Central. The free tram stop was only a few minutes from the hotel. Our room had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable enough for a great night's sleep. From check-in onward, the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We had a really enjoyable stay at Ibis Central and would book again. Thanks to all the hardworking staff who keep the place running. 🌟
