I ended up staying quite a bit longer than planned because I was having such a good time. Lords Lodge had a welcoming feel from the first day, and I’ll really miss the atmosphere and the great people I met there. The staff were great, facilities good and price decent. It’s centrally located, with transport options just a short walk away and shops and other conveniences close by. I’d recommend it whether you’re staying for a while or just visiting the city briefly.

Patrick, the owner, is always glad to help, and the people who live here treat others as they’d like to be treated. It has that home away from home feel people talk about. There are hot showers and a shared kitchen, plus a fire in winter and free Sangria on Saturdays. Come join in!

Right in the middle of the city, so it never gets dull. People are open and there’s always someone around for a chat. I had an awesome time here. It’s the best place to meet new friends in Australia!

Free WiFi, street parking at no cost (though finding a spot can be tricky), comfortable beds and steaming hot showers. The place was quiet, with lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Thursday games nights were fun, and there’s free sangria on Saturdays.

I was staying at the lodge long term and felt at home from the first day. The people are welcoming, and the facilities are generally kept clean. The kitchen is well equipped, and there’s a nice TV room. Saturday night sangria each week brings everyone together at the end of the week.
