Luxuria Apartments - Collins House

The only thing I’d suggest is providing two key fobs for a two-bedroom apartment, since having just one was a little inconvenient. We had a great stay in this clean, classy, tidy, well-maintained 2 bed, 2 bath apartment, and the gym was a nice bonus. The location was fantastic, with tram stops close by that made getting around easy. Communication was excellent overall. There was a small hiccup with the bond payment, possibly due to a staff swap-over, but it was resolved without too much trouble. We’d definitely consider staying again.

The location was excellent, with everything within walking distance, plenty of good cafés and restaurants nearby, and an IGA right next door. Our room had a stunning view, and seeing hot air balloons float past when we woke up was a beautiful start to the day. We had a lovely eight-night stay at Collins House Apartments. The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable, and fully self-contained, with a stove, full-size fridge, microwave, kettle, washing machine, and dryer. The bathroom had great water pressure. On a warm day, though, there was no air conditioning in the bedroom, so we relied on the fan. It wasn't ideal, but manageable. There's no housekeeping for stays under seven days, though you can ask reception for fresh towels and other necessities. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, and the staff were supportive and helpful throughout. We couldn't get early check-in, which was a little disappointing after a 16-hour flight from the US, when all we wanted was a hot shower and rest, but we understand availability can be limited. We appreciated the direct SMS communication from the General Manager, Kylee Lowden, which felt personal. We had a wonderful experience, would highly recommend it, and would definitely stay again.

From our bed on a high floor, we watched hot air balloons drift across the skyline. Pure magic, and those unbeatable views really made the stay. The apartment at Collins House was modern, clean, and perfectly located, and the staff made us feel right at home. 10/10! We'll choose Collins house again when we're back in Melbourne. We got great value for the price, with a very good quality apartment that cost far less than many Melbourne city hotels. Our 1-bed apartment suited us as a couple, with lots of space, a nice seating area for watching TV, a well-equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. The views from our 32nd-floor windows were amazing. The location on Collins street puts you right in the heart of things, with a tram stop about 100m away. Melbourne feels smaller than you might expect, and most main places in the CDB are easily walkable. Check-in staff were lovely, and General manager Kylee Lowden checked in several times to make sure everyone was good, which we were. Collins House Appartments was a wonderful stay, and we'll definitely return on future visits. Just keep in mind it's an aparthotel, with no on-site bar or restaurant, though the city's fine eating places are right outside. Thanks to Kylee and the whole Collins House team, you were great!
