The apartments are comfortable, the location is great, and it’s been quiet on each of my stays, which matters in a central area. I’ve stayed at Mac South Yarra several times and am always impressed by the team’s personal service. Gabrielle and Karolina have helped with early check-ins when I’ve asked, which is especially useful since I live in the country and often bring food for family celebrations. Having early access to the fridge helps, and parking is easy and good. My one regret is that they don’t take pets, as I’d love to bring our two small dogs sometimes.

A comfortable bed and a clean, tidy room made this fine for a last-minute overnight stop. It’s near Chapel Street and about a 15-minute drive into the city. The train line is close, and noise carries between floors and rooms. Parking is limited, though there were spaces on a nearby street.

We had a great stay at MAC South Yarra. The bed was really comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Check-in was easy, and it’s very handy for the train station, Prahran markets and trams.

The rooms are stylish, clean and renovated, and free parking was a nice extra. Noise carries so clearly that you can hear the neighbours doing just about anything. Still, I’d happily come back for a night or two.

The location is great for walking to Chapel Street and getting to PTV, though the property is right beside the train line. Check-in was quick and straightforward, with detailed instructions, and having free parking on site was a real plus. I’d recommend it for anyone needing somewhere for a night.
