A pleasant stroll takes you to the Palais Theatre, St Kilda Beach and several restaurants. The area is fantastic, and secure parking was a great bonus. The bed was comfortable and impeccably clean, which helped make the stay delightful. A couple of things could use attention: the kitchen and bathroom fans were quite dusty and dirty, and the carpet at the apartment entrance was lifting and torn, making it a bit of a trip hazard. Check-out was at 10 a.m., but the housekeeper knocked at 9, which surprised us and made us feel rushed. In my opinion, that was unacceptable.

Parking came with the stay, which is a real find in this spot. The older, small block has been refurbished nicely, and it’s quiet and really comfortable despite being close to the Botanic Garden and Acland St.

The booking was straightforward, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Rooms were tidy and clean, with all the amenities you need, and the location is great.

Clean, secure, and in a great spot, this apartment worked perfectly for us. The staff were extremely accommodating, and I’d happily use Melbourne Apartment Collection again.
