Mahogany Park

We left after about an hour. I’d been meeting my girlfriend there, so I spent 30-40 minutes cleaning before she arrived, and it was still awful. Such a rip-off and waste of money. Never again. The room smelled really bad and hadn’t been cleaned. Cigarette ash and crumbs were on the floor, dirt and marks covered the tables, and the doona had big stains. The toilet was dirty, with dead flies and long black hair on the bathroom floor. The shower was disgusting, with a stained screen, soap marks, and putrid black goo built up on the floor. Its cable leaked and the water pressure was poor. The roof fan cover was missing, exposing a cavity covered in thick dust and spider webs. Marks, writing, and black marker drawings covered the walls, along with plaster patches and drops of blood. The bedroom door was missing its handle, and the heater didn’t work.

The location is excellent, but the place badly needs maintenance and some care. We gave it another chance, and the same problems were still there. On our first stay I remember the room needed a lot of attention. It was clean, but very run-down. This was our second visit, and the hotel still needs a lot of love.

The entry room had no power or lights, the soap holder was broken off the wall, and there was mold all through the shower. The mirror had texta scribble on it and the drawers were filthy. I paid cash but still haven’t received my change. The aircon was broken, and the old replacement worked but was so noisy. This building needs reporting.

My workplace booked this motel, and I was completely disappointed and disgusted. The room smelled of cigarettes, the bedroom lamps and bathroom light didn’t work, and there were holes in the wall. The bench hadn’t been cleaned, and I found cockroaches in the cupboards. It was absolutely disgusting.
