I enjoyed my time here. The view was fantastic, the location was great, and breakfast was awesome. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and top class, and the apartments had free wifi. There was pretty much everything you might need, including an electric iron, washing machine, full kitchen, dining table and the usual other things.

A comfortable place in the middle of the Central Business District. Melbourne Museum and Melbourne Central are an easy ten-minute walk away, and the Free Tourist Tram is only a few steps from the hotel. Look for stop #8 and route 35. Free wifi would have made the stay more pleasant.

The location felt like a grungy end of Melbourne, and the bathrooms were pretty tired. If you can get a deal and your apartment faces the park, the view makes it okay. I was put in a two-bedroom apartment with lots of space and an alright kitchen. The ensuite bedroom was a bit cramped, while the other room near the main bathroom was fine. Doors and windows were thin and didn’t fit well, so if you need quiet, ask for a high floor. Mantra should renovate the property. Stayed April 2017.
