The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook during my stay, and the apartment was clean, cared for and thoughtfully furnished. It was good value for the price. I had a fantastic experience and would consider staying again on a future short visit.

The apartment was clean, but very small, and the area was deserted over the weekend with hardly any food options. We booked for five, yet it wasn’t set up as requested, so we had to search for linen. The day before arrival, we were told to collect keys from an office elsewhere. Directions to the building were vague, which made finding it with bags difficult. The air conditioning was faulty. The modem wasn’t switched on, and although there were signs telling us not to touch it, staff told us to turn it off and on. The dishwasher was off too, with a power switch that was hard to reach. When we contacted staff several times, their replies felt dismissive and rude. We wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location is great, and the extra sheets and towels in the room came in handy. We were allowed to check in early, though there was some confusion about my booking first. I messaged the contact number they provided when I needed help, but sometimes got no reply. The shower needs a deep clean, with quite a lot of mould spots. We’re still waiting for the $500 bond to be returned, though it’s only been two business days.

Our family of six had a superb stay in a three-bedroom apartment on the 22nd floor. The view was spectacular, and the building always smelled pleasant when we came in. The unit was spotless, and the kitchen was equipped, though it could use kitchen scissors, a strainer and mixing bowls. Bella was our contact and replied promptly to questions and concerns. The tram stop is just steps away, making the CBD easy to reach, and Woolworths is nearby. We’d definitely recommend Melbourne Private Apartments.
