Melbourne Short Stay Apartments on Whiteman

The location worked perfectly for me while I was resting after an operation, and the nearby IGA meant I could stay in my room and take it easy. I had one glitch during the night, but Joyce was calming and helpful, and got everything sorted. They also let me take my time leaving instead of rushing me out at 10:00 am. We could easily walk to the MCG and DFO, and the apartment’s situation was great for getting to the casino, Southbank restaurants, supermarkets and trams around the city. Eight of us stayed in the four-bedroom apartment at 88 Kavanagh St while visiting from Perth for the Field of Ladies at the MCG. It was spacious, well furnished and had very comfortable beds. The apartment managers kindly accommodated our early arrival and late departure, which we really appreciated. I’d recommend staying here to explore Melbourne.

The room we got was lovely. We came for the crunchyroll expo, and having the convention centre right next door was so handy for me and my friends. The CBD is a five-minute walk away, or the tram stop is right outside the hotel. The casino is close too, with a food court, and there’s an IGA downstairs for food or essentials.

This was the worst experience ever, and I’ve never left a negative review before. There was no check-in desk or concierge, and the number on the website went straight to voicemail. I kept calling for 1.5 hours with no answer. Nobody called me back until 1hr 45 minutes had passed. First I was told someone was 10 minutes away and that I was in a different building. Five minutes later, someone else called and said it would be thirty minutes. They also said I should have checked my emails. We confirmed the email address on file and found it was a random address that wasn’t mine. Be very careful booking with this company.
