stayed here for new years once and it was really good

I left after one night, even though I’d booked and paid for two. The room was filthy, with mould in the kitchen and bathroom and sticky floors, and staff didn’t help. I tried to contact them on the day I arrived and again the next morning to complain, but heard nothing until after I’d left. Then they said I couldn’t get a refund because I’d left without giving them a chance to fix it. They gave me an email address for my concerns, but despite emailing several times since, I’ve had no reply. It felt like a health hazard.

A well maintained heritage building with great facilities, right beside Southern Cross Station. There’s a tram stop at the front door, and the Stadium, supermarket, convention centre, and Crown Casino are all nearby.

Great place, and Steve at concierge was nice. They also have two synthetic grass tennis courts, a pool, gym, and BBQ.
