The location made getting around easy, with a train stop nearby and bakeries, restaurants, and a shopping mall all within an easy walk. Our room was a great size, with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom that had all the amenities we needed. The fully equipped kitchen was a big plus, and having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment made a real difference while travelling. But it was the staff who made the stay. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and genuinely attentive from the start. Talking with them made us feel less like guests and more like part of the Meriton family. A comfortable, well located hotel with staff who really care. Highly recommended.

We slept really well, and the blackout curtains worked well in the evenings. The rooms were very clean and modern, with just the right amenities. The views were brilliant, and huge windows brought in lots of lovely light. The pool and jacuzzi area was relaxing and stylish, and we really enjoyed it. The manager greeted us warmly and efficiently, having read the notes on our reservation, and made us feel special. For our celebration, there was a beautiful card and a bottle of wine waiting when we arrived, an unexpected and lovely surprise. This is a fantastic Meriton hotel. I'd gladly come back to Melbourne and stay here again, especially for the self catering amenities.

I arrived on an early morning flight feeling tired and overwhelmed, so the early check-in meant a lot. The room felt like home, very comfortable and clean. I left it clean and tidy too, as I would my own home. The location is very convenient, and I'll be back in Melbourne next month and will definitely book here again. Thank you to all the kind, friendly staff for making my stay so comfortable.

The staff really make this hotel stand out. I felt relaxed and looked after from the moment we arrived, and the service was noticeably better than the friendly service you get in most hotels. Taylor at the front desk was exceptional, warm, hospitable, and helpful. Huge credit to the whole team. We stayed for ten days, and the room was a lovely light-filled space with plenty of room for a longer stay. I worked there during the day, and the climate control was excellent, with separate easy-to-use thermostats for the bedroom and living room. The little dishwasher was handy, and the room supplies would be enough for a short stay. We needed a clothes drying rack, and the front desk sent one up. Cleanliness is my top concern in a hotel, especially because I have bad allergies and eczema. I had no problems here. A few surfaces had a light dusting, perhaps because the room had been vacant for a week or so, but it had clearly been cleaned well before that. I wiped it away in two minutes, and I'm sure the desk would have sent someone promptly if I'd called. I mention it because I'm sceptical of reviews that claim there's never any cleaning issue. The dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer were all clean and free of musty smells. The pool and gym were great. The gym was well equipped with all the machines and equipment you'd want, and the pool was clean and well maintained in a lovely space, good for swimming laps. The gym is open 24/7 and the pool until 10pm, which is pretty good. One small thing for anyone booking: it may be worth requesting a corner room. From the photos, I thought all the one-bedroom suites were corner suites, but there are five on each floor and one isn't on a corner. We got that one, but it was still a great space, so it's not really a complaint. The staff also accommodated our request for a high floor, with a lovely view. We could even see a glimpse of the crown fire show at night and hot air balloons in the morning. Thanks for that. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. You get a luxury hotel experience with the convenience of a whole apartment, and I'd absolutely stay again. Hats off to the Meriton Suites Melbourne team.
