Mornington Bed and Breakfast

We spent three nights in the Oriental Room, one of the smaller rooms, and it had everything we needed, including a spa jet. It was clean and we had no complaints. Denise was a wonderful, accommodating host, and breakfast each morning was delicious. She was also lovely to chat with. The B&B is very close to both the main street and the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back soon.

The sunset view from the balcony was gorgeous, and we wished we could have stayed longer. We were in the Regency Room for two nights. It was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, a renovated bathroom and a balcony. The beach is just a stone’s throw away, and there’s parking on site. Denise was delightful, and both breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. She made us feel very welcome.

Denise made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, even though we were much earlier than planned. She was very accommodating, served a lovely breakfast each morning and was great to chat with. The house itself is gorgeous, with period decor that’s clearly been put together with care. Denise lives in a separate house, which gives the place a comfortable feel without making you feel like you’re intruding. An outdoor terrace was being built during our stay, and it looks like it’ll be a lovely spot for guests in summer. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in the area.

We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our time at Mornington Bed and Breakfast. The place has such a beautiful feel and decor, and Denise went out of her way to make us comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely, especially her poached eggs. Highly recommended.
