We stayed here before and after the renovation, and both times were delightful. The new decor is beautifully thought through: grey and white terrazzo bathroom tiles like the sand at Flinders beach, a blue ceiling like the sky, and deep green carpet like the water at Flinders beach. All the little touches were fabulous. The courtyard could use a little greenery and maybe a soft chair, but that’s a tiny detail, and we’re lucky to have a courtyard at all. The location is great, close to a dog beach and welcoming of K9s. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Please only visit in winter, I don’t want anyone finding out and booking it out!

We found Motel Flinders convenient for getting around and exploring the area, with shops, restaurants and the waterfront nearby. The staff were welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. It was comfortable and good value for money, and we’d happily stay again. Highly recommend it for a convenient place to stay.

The rooms are newly renovated, thoughtfully designed and kept super clean. They made a great base for exploring the peninsula. The beach and a few good food spots, including Flinders General Store and Sourdough, are within walking distance. Most days we drove somewhere else, no more than 10-15 minutes away.

We had a lovely stay in a nice room with a beautiful little balcony. The general store, pub and cafes are all within a five minute walk, and the beach is down the road, maybe a ten minute walk. Reception closed at 4, but staff arranged for us to collect our key just after. We really enjoyed our stay :)

We spent a couple of nights in the King suite with the Grandies, and it worked really well for the three of us. Flinders is a lovely getaway spot, with jetty jumping, bike rides and walks to enjoy, plus a fabulous Thai restaurant. Thanks to Brittany and Kim for making us feel welcome and keeping the motel clean.
