Park Regis Griffin Suites

We liked the clean room, kind manager and staff, and the handy location. Our conference at the Pullman Hotel was only a 5 minute walk away, and the hotel was affordable. There was a small fridge, sink, cutlery, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, iron, Wifi and TV, all the basics we needed. A couple of things bothered us. The reception area was very clean, but the automatic air freshener was so strong I had to cover my nose. It smelled like an old lady’s perfume. Also, the fire alarm was above the kitchen area, and it went off as soon as we put bread in the toaster, before it had even toasted. It was early morning and we panicked, though we managed to turn it off quickly. The manager had warned us before check-in to be careful with the toaster, so I guess this had happened a few times. The next day we used the toaster in the toilet 😕. It would be better to move the alarm near the bed. Aside from those two issues, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thank you! 🙏

I checked my transactions to reassure my dad, Kasi, and found that the deposit paid on (2/11/24) night was never returned to my account or paid back in cash. I’d completely missed that it was still outstanding. Maybe the hotel made a mistake or there was a misunderstanding about returning it, but the money hasn’t come back.

We upgraded from a Studio to a One Bedroom Suite at Park Regis Griffin Suites on 604, St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, VIC, and I’d happily stay here again. It’s like a large apartment and has everything needed for a home away from home: a washing machine and dryer, full kitchen with microwave, gas cooker and dishwasher, plus a big ensuite bathroom with shower, bath, toiletries dispenser and a great vanity area. There’s also a large lounge and a table with four chairs. Booking online was easy, and Assistant Manager Vicky at the Front Desk gave us an AMAZING, welcoming check-in. This is a perfect place to relax while visiting Melbourne. Love 💕 this place.

I needed somewhere near the Alfred for a quick Melbourne visit, and Park Regis was a great choice. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the General Manager was wonderful. Customer service was outstanding, and they were incredibly accommodating. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Melbourne.
