We only stayed one night, even though we’d booked three. The room and bed looked bigger in the listing photos than they were in person, and the long-pile carpet felt slimy. When we asked about changing the booking, the response was blunt and unhelpful. We also found it sneaky that the booking site called them a preferred partner because they pay higher commission per booking, while that status means you can’t review them on the site.

The staff made us feel welcome every time we came and went, and they were friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. We were in town for the AO, which was an easy, pleasant walk away. Simpson Street Tram stop is close too, so getting into the CBD was convenient. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and the ones we tried didn’t disappoint. We both loved our week at The Quest East and are already looking forward to coming back for the AO in 2027.

We had a quiet, spacious room at a reasonable price, with a tram nearby and Aami park within walking distance, where the monster jam event was held. The bathroom sliding door was heavy and didn’t move smoothly. The toilet was only about a meter from the bed, but that was understandable given the room layout. We had a great stay overall.

We stayed after a hospital visit, and the clean, easy-to-access rooms worked perfectly for us. It’s close to everything, with wheelchair access if needed. Staff were accommodating and helpful with our last-minute requests. Great value, highly recommend!

Karla at reception was quick, efficient and really friendly, and we were checked in and ready to go in no time. They’d even arranged parking for me after realizing I was driving in from a long way away, though I hadn’t booked it. The hotel is well located for the MCG, with lots of food and entertainment around bridge road and Wellington parade. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had great views throughout. The complimentary water bottles and cans of coke were a lovely touch for my son and me after a long trip. Great value, and I’d book again without hesitation.
