For over $500 a night, this was disgraceful. In the main bedroom, spiders fell from the curtain when I lowered it, and the bed base had no cover sheet, showing a heavily stained mattress. The second room was so cramped that its door hit one of the two single beds and you had to edge in sideways. Those beds had covers, but they were dirty and grimy too. The bathroom was filthy, the tiles grotty and grout turning black. The shower door wouldn’t shut, and the tap came off at the first touch because it wasn’t connected. Even the complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash had been used. Elsewhere, cupboard handles were coming off, the fridge was stained, and the TV stand supports were broken. The curtain cords didn’t work, and the patio was full of cobwebs. There was also a portable cot outside that looked ready for the bin. Walls, bench tops, bedside table tops and the dining table were stained and chipped, like hard-rubbish finds. DO NOT STAY HERE!

READYSET APRARTMENTS stopped taking my calls after I raised the issues, and they offered no plan to fix anything. One bed had collapsed, the sofa bed was broken and covered in questionable stains, towels in the closet were dirty, linen was missing, and the apartment was generally very dirty. I had no choice but to leave and find somewhere else. They wouldn’t refund me, even though the property issues were within their control. This company isn’t reputable. What a dump of a place and supplier. Don’t stay here.

We were never told which room we’d be in. When we got inside, it was filthy, hot and had no air con. The toilet smelled of sewage, and there was rubbish under the couches and out on the balcony. After we left, they said they couldn’t find a key, even though we all knew we’d locked the door behind us and left it on the bench. They were trying to keep our bond over a pair of keys they “couldn’t” find, which doesn’t cost anywhere near $300. Dodgy as. Don’t book here.

The place was so bad we couldn’t stay and had to find other accommodation. It was far from clean, with two broken beds, a filthy broken sofa and a dirty towel left in the bedroom. Linen we’d requested before check-in wasn’t provided. DO NOT STAY HERE.
