I stayed here when I first moved to Melbourne more than 20 years ago and had no problems then. Now, everything needs replacing. The front door is literally falling apart, the bed is propped up by a brick, and there was hair in the basin. The woman tried to help, but she’s working in an absolute dive. I wouldn’t recommend this motel. We should have stayed in Mitcham, and I won’t leave anything in the room when we go out.

We ended up extending our stay by a few days after the owner moved us to a quiet, upgraded room the day after we had a noisy neighbour. The room was nice, and we really appreciated the move. The staff were very friendly, and the woman went out of her way to make us comfortable. They were also accommodating with pets, charged only a small nightly increase, and didn’t ask for an excessive bond. It was much cheaper than the other places we stayed. My fiancé and I would highly recommend it.

The shops are close, and I really liked the big bed. Happy to stay here again.

The rooms were clean and nice, and they welcome dogs. The staff were lovely too.

4/10
The staff were great and very friendly, but I was disappointed about the refund. In 2022 I paid for two weeks and stayed about four or five days. A resident who seemed to be on drugs was very intimidating, threatened me, and paced up and down outside my room while I stayed safely inside. I felt highly unsafe and had to leave as soon as possible. The motel wouldn’t refund the remaining week or so that I’d booked.
