Roomerang at Marco 28

The Woolies across the road was really handy, and we found the fridge and kitchenette roomy and convenient. There was plenty of storage in the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, which would be useful for a longer visit. On our first night, the air-conditioner was noisy, but staff quickly moved us to another room without any fuss. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our two nights over the Australia Day weekend.

We could walk to South Melbourne Market and lots of cafes and restaurants, and there's a Woolworths across the road that stays open late for room supplies. The location was great. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff were welcoming. Check-in and checkout were easy, and they were able to give me a late checkout because my flight was later in the day.

It was good value for us, and I liked the bigger-than-usual towels. The self-contained setup was convenient for a family, with a kitchen, washing machine, full-size fridge and dishwasher. The pool and gym were handy, as was Woolies across the road. It's easy to get onto the highway, Westgate and airport freeway, and Crown Casino is a close walk. Other parts of the city take a bit more walking, but it's fine with good shoes. The price was reasonable.

The reception team were helpful and kind throughout our week, especially Shomin, who was patient and helped us change rooms. I may have the name wrong, as I can't remember it clearly. We'd booked a sky view one-bedroom, but the bedroom faced the corner of a building, unlike the website photos. I personally couldn't stay in a room like that for long.
