Shadow Play by Peppers

We ate at Edwin’s during our stay and couldn't fault either the food or the service. The Crown precinct, river restaurants and DFO are just a five-minute stroll away, and there's a great coffee shop right across the road. We booked Peppers at the last minute after our original hotel put us in an unclean room. Since we'd stayed at Peppers before, we knew what to expect. Within an hour of booking, we'd arrived, checked in quickly and smoothly, arranged a late checkout, and gone straight up to our room. It was spacious, clean and well equipped, with daily housekeeping. The gym, sauna and pool were all well maintained. A fantastic stay again. Peppers is definitely our go-to in Melbourne now, and we're no longer keen to try other hotels.

The sauna and steam room were great, and my room was large and well appointed. I had a two-night stay and was really impressed by how clean and well presented the hotel was. From reception to the rooms, pool and amenities, everything felt high end and luxurious, even better than the pictures suggest. The staff were kind and very attentive. I can't wait to come back.

My daughter and I had a lovely four-night stay, and the team kindly upgraded us to a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. It was well equipped, with great attention to detail in the rooms. Getting around and exploring was easy thanks to the convenient location. The only downside was the unpleasant smell near the level 7 lifts. Otherwise, a wonderful stay 😊

The location worked well for our family, and we liked having a kitchen and laundry. Breakfast was straightforward but good quality. The two-bedroom apartment suited us, though the bathrooms had only a small towel rack and no hooks, which made it hard to hang towels. With no vents in the rooms, they also became quite warm at night. I thought the pool would be heated, but it wasn't, so the kids couldn't use it, which was disappointing.
