We rented the top floor apartment (35/F) and had a wonderful view over Melbourne. The apartment was very clean, with nice furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen. It had 3 rooms, 2 with ensuites, well-designed bathrooms, a huge TV, and a lovely dining table. The service wasn't up to standard. The air conditioning in all the bedrooms wasn't working properly. Luckily it was winter, and the AC in the living area could slowly carry through to the 3 rooms. We asked staff several times to come up and help, but nobody came to fix it. They just communicated on WhatsApp and insisted the AC needed time to run. It still wasn't working after 2 days.

The room was okay, but the service wasn't good. I had trouble getting into the room and with the booking, and when I asked staff for help, they gave me the worst attitude. Later I asked if I could leave my luggage in the lobby for about 5 minutes. They just said NO, with an attitude, even though it was such a simple request. They seemed fine speaking English with me, but their attitude changed when they switched to Chinese. I know Chinese, so I could tell it wasn't just the tone.

The basement flooded and the elevators were out for 2 days, so I had to take the stairs up and down. I was there on a business trip for 2 nights, with meetings all day, and ended up cancelling all of them. My interstate trip was a waste of time. I paid $338, but the hotel only offered a $40 refund and didn't think I was entitled to more. Extremely disappointing. Be careful booking at this poorly run property, the service was extremely poor.

It's convenient and everything else works efficiently, though the intercom sometimes doesn't work right. It can be a little hard to find the rooms, and some are cleaner than others.

Room 1103 was one of the best hotel stays I've had, after staying in places all over Australia and Asia. Excellent location, top-class rooms, and fantastic staff.
