St Kilda Hostel

The location was perfect, and I loved the free breakfast and tea. They clean the rooms every day, too. I booked Nomads St Kilda for a week and stayed a whole month. The team were helpful and fun, especially Isaac, and the atmosphere made it easy to make friends. Definitely recommend it.

I spent more than two months at Nomads St Kilda, and it came to feel more like home than a hostel. The weekly events were a real highlight, with plenty of fun ways to meet people and feel part of things from the start. The dorms are cleaned every day, and the housekeeping team clearly takes pride in keeping the facilities in good shape. Reception were always willing to help: Luke was especially welcoming and great at finding solutions, Roni helped with bookings and questions while keeping service standards high, and Pepe brought a lot of warmth and charisma. alex kept the shared spaces tidy, and Sammie was friendly while making sure everyone stayed safe and behaved. The night receptionists, Javier and Moises, were kind and attentive at any hour. It's hard to overstate how hospitable the place is. If you're coming to Melbourne and want to feel welcomed and looked after, I'd happily recommend staying here.

The reception MVPs are Luke and Ronnie. Luke goes out of his way to sort everything, and Ronnie is always smiling, welcoming, and good at keeping things on track while making people feel happy. There's loads going on here, with events and things to do, and the bar staff are top gs. Sammie at the door always greets you with a smile, too.

Luke at reception looked after me and my friends so well during our very long stay. He's always ready with a joke, goes the extra mile, and makes sure any problems get sorted. Big ups Luke, we love u king. The whole hostel has a lively feel, and the bar downstairs runs events that make meeting people easy. It's a good place to socialise and get settled in the city alongside others in the same situation.
