Honeymooning at Stony Creek Cottages was the best holiday I've ever had. The owners were wonderful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We got to spend real time with their second miniature donkey, who was adorable and had a huge personality. After a busy couple of months, hanging out with that little donkey made the trip especially memorable. It's an experience I'll carry with me. I can't recommend Stony Creek enough.

Louise greeted us so warmly, with the fire already going, and the cottage was gorgeous, private and cosy. It was beautifully styled and had everything we needed, from lovely blankets, bedding and a spa to delicious snacks and ice cream in the fridge. We also loved the private deck just off the bedroom. There's a cute little kitty who comes by now and then to say hello. We loved our stay and I couldn't fault the place. Highly recommend if you're staying in the area.

The donkeys were a highlight, and the cottage was cosy, beautifully furnished and surrounded by lovely scenery. Louise went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after. Thanks for making our stay so memorable. We really appreciate it and hope to come back.

Louise and David were lovely hosts and great local guides, with excellent tips for nearby attractions like the alpaca farm, hot springs and french restaurant. A lovely place to stay, highly recommended.
