Deanne and Toby welcomed me so warmly. Strathvea guest house is a beautiful hidden gem in a pristine cool temperate rain forest. The heritage-listed building dates back to the 1800's. I really enjoyed my stay, especially the amazing breakfast and the beautiful, cosy rooms. I loved the peacock Moet too. Definitely recommend it for big functions and weddings, or a romantic getaway.

The gardens and views were stunning, and Deanne and Toby's hospitality and homely touches made this a holiday to remember. Strathvea has authentic 1920 charm and is tucked into gorgeous forest behind Healesville, near Melbourne. For my partner and me, it was a romantic, relaxing Yarra Valley getaway, with friendly service and old world charm. We'd love to bring the whole family next time. Bed and Breakfast in the Yarra Valley won't be the same without Strathvea. If you love the area, this is a must experience. Forget the Healesville hotels!

The hosts and staff are welcoming and helpful, and the food is excellent. This charming old world guesthouse has well appointed rooms, lovely buildings and decor, and a bush setting. There are conference facilities too. Recommended.

We came for a friends' wedding and stayed two nights over the weekend. The venue was beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery, and the hosts were friendly and attentive. We'd happily come back for another wedding or a relaxing weekend away.
