There’s a real community here, and it’s easy to feel at home. The staff are genuinely kind and go out of their way to help residents. Events are fun and there’s always something happening, which makes living here much better. It’s great value for the price too. I’d definitely recommend it if you want a friendly, welcoming place with plenty going on.

My room looks out over the city, and the facilities are good. The study lounges are especially nice, and they put on lots of activities and offer students free meals. It does feel expensive for a typical student.

It’s easy to find somewhere to study, with study spots throughout the building, plus games and theatre rooms. The staff are friendly, there are lots of fun community events, and the security is great. I always feel safe here.

The public facilities are complete and kept in good shape. It’s fairly expensive, sure, but I think the cost is worthwhile when water, electricity, and internet are available with virtually no limit.

My flatmates became some of my closest friends in Australia, and the events at SVM made it easy to meet people and feel part of a community. The rooms are well equipped and set up with what you need. Staff were so friendly too. Thanks David, Erik, Christopher, and Marta for all the support and help while I was there!
