Andy was friendly and professional, and we had a great time here both day and night. We’d happily recommend the place to family and friends. Also, loved the coffee provided in-house ❤️

The view during our visit made this a wonderful place to stay. Thanks for hosting us, Andy. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Arthurs seat.

Watching the sun come up and set from the room made for lovely mornings and evenings. The view is hard to beat, especially from the spa bath, and the gas log fire and surround sound make the space feel especially inviting as winter approaches. The large king bed was comfortable, and a great fit for taller couples.

The views are spectacular, but I expected more thoughtful basics at this price. For a couples retreat with a spa, bath salts, body wash, robes and plush towels would have been nice. The coffee pod machine was advertised, so I expected long-life milk, and there was no tea, sugar, salt or pepper either. Calling it a kitchenette feels generous. With few nearby dinner options or delivery, that made having enough supplies more important. A heads-up about stocking up on basic cooking and pantry items, milk, tea, sugar and toilet paper would have helped. There were only two rolls for two adults over two nights. Getting an Uber or taxi to and from the property was difficult because drivers don’t seem to get many fares there. The steep stair path down to the apartment could also make carrying luggage or groceries hard. Parking would be tight if two couples were using both apartments. The audio system felt outdated, and all three TVs were small. The couples retreat couch was small, hard and uncomfortable, so cuddling on it wasn’t enjoyable. There were no spare blankets. There was also a construction site next door, something to consider for a midweek stay.
