Canvas Suites On Flinders

The room was neat and tidy, and the location made everything convenient. Staff were helpful and attentive whenever I had a question or concern. Service from the whole team was excellent from start to finish. We had a lovely stay, and I’ll definitely book again. Highly recommend.

The gym and swimming pool both had modern touches, and the amenities were top-notch. Our room was beautiful and very clean, with a stunning panoramic view. The staff paid attention to every detail and gave excellent service. It was a remarkable stay, and I highly recommend the hotel.

The room was reasonably clean, but that was the only good part of our six-day stay. Passing trains on the line directly opposite ran through most of the day and night. The noise was extremely loud and made sleep very difficult. The mattress was also too soft and uncomfortable, so we woke up sore every day. The TV’s internet connection, apparently on a separate network, never worked. Staff first said it was under maintenance, then told us it couldn’t be fixed. The shower was frustrating too: even at its hottest setting, the water was barely warm, and about a quarter of the time it turned cold. Housekeeping replaced the towels, but often left them on a chair by the entrance instead of putting them in the bathroom. The common areas weren’t well maintained either, with the elevator floor noticeably dirty throughout our stay. We wouldn’t recommend this apartment hotel.

The rooms were clean and small, but they had nearly all the essentials, and the price felt fair for what we got. The view was great, especially from the gym balcony 😭🤌🏻. The staff were amazing, and we really enjoyed our holiday in Melbourne after coming from Perth. I think we made a good choice staying at The Canvas. Thanks heaps to the whole team, maybe we’ll see you again ;))
