Even with a power outage from road works on my second day, the stay was beautiful. I loved the place so much I didn’t want to leave, especially the spa with the fireplace going. Michelle and Olivia were wonderful, as was the receptionist whose name I didn’t catch. I highly, highly recommend staying here.

The location was really convenient, with good amenities nearby, and the continental breakfast items included were a pleasant surprise. The boutique hotel was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. I had a very satisfying stay and would happily return and recommend it.

I’m staying in the King Arthur Room and its private courtyard is a lovely touch. The spa, fireplace with wood, bathrobes and slippers all add to the comfort, and the service has been exemplary. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, with juices, cereals, different milks and bread to toast. I’m very particular about where I stay, and this place has exceeded my expectations. I’d give it 10/10, and found the quality and service better than The Ritz. It’s the best lodging I’ve come across in Melbourne. The whole experience has been remarkable.

The place feels unique, set in a small village among beautiful woods. We loved the breakfast amenities, and the charming rooms and suites have a romantic Victorian-style furnishings. Highly recommend.
