We’ve kept busy in Rye despite the weather, making use of the spa, sauna and pool table when outdoor activities weren’t appealing. There’s plenty to do around here, and we’ve had a wonderful time. My daughter has always loved Rye, and now I understand why. Whitecliffs Beach Resort is clean, comfortable and close to everything. Beth and Alan are both kind, helpful hosts. It’s such a lovely place to stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Rye.

The hosts, Alan and Beth, made a real difference. They were warm and welcoming, and took such care to make sure guests were comfortable. Whitecliffs has a calm, friendly feel to it, and we’re already making plans to visit again. We stayed in a spacious townhouse-style unit that felt like home, with a full kitchen, comfy beds and a small outdoor area. Everything was clean and thoughtfully provided, and the resort was peaceful and well maintained. The heated indoor pool was a treat, the mini golf brought back memories, and the adult-only spa and sauna were perfect for winding down. We also enjoyed the games room. The location across from the Rye foreshore was ideal for morning beach walks and sunset views. Whitecliffs is a lovely find on the Mornington Peninsula, whether you’re visiting with family or friends. Highly recommend.
