From our level 5 apartment, the view was great, and we loved the spacious, modern, comfy place and grouse location for our four-day stay. We didn't expect it to be so roomy and up to date. Just remember to bring your own doona. We weren't keen on using top sheets as doonas. The quiet signs could be enforced better too, since people walking around woke us several times a night.

We've stayed at Albacore three times now, and the staff are friendly and happy to help with requests. The apartment is huge, with excellent views, and our room was very clean. When the washing machine died, they replaced it the next day. I highly recommend Albacore for your next holiday.

The apartment was large, with amazing views and a great location, but the constant traffic and noise from other guests made our seven-night stay in December 2025 and January 2026 difficult. This was my second visit with my husband and kids, and sadly we won't return. We were on the level with the pool and shared outdoor area, right outside our bedrooms. Kids played soccer and rode scooters there, and one family even put up a tennis net. I have kids too, but wouldn't let them do that in such a small shared space. Families wanting to play sports could stay at a caravan park. I was disappointed that management let a few families spoil the holiday for many others. They also wouldn't provide extra toilet paper or dishwashing powder when we asked, saying guests get only a 'starter pack' and then have to "go to woolies and buy your own".

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the water view from the apartment was fantastic. Cafes, restaurants, town centre shops and the lovely lakeside boardwalk are all an easy, short walk away. Can't beat that location.

Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Graeme and I spent four days here, and the apartments were quiet and very, very clean. Everything was close by and within walking distance.
