The cleaner did an exceptional job during my two-day stay, and Room 6 on the ground floor was very clean and well laid out. The view was of the stairs to the upstairs units. With rain the whole time, I didn’t get to try the pool. I’m not into wifi, so that wasn’t a selling point for me. Parking is a bit of a challenge on a very steep grade, and the walk into town is also quite steep, though the distance isn’t bad. It must be under new management, as the motel is now managed remotely. What happened to old-fashioned service? I’ll probably look for a serviced motel next time in Merimbula. Tony @ Kippax

We stayed for one night on our way up the coast and will definitely be back. The bed was super comfy, and the ceiling fan in our room was amazing. The aircon and kitchenette were great too. The bathroom was clean, with great water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean and easy to find. Great hotel oceanview owners!!

We came here to relax on holiday, but ended up being expected to clean the dishes and take out the rubbish before leaving. That requirement wasn't mentioned in the description, and they charge extra if you don't do it. There weren't enough bins or toilet paper either, and the woman we spoke with was very rude. A really bad stay, and I wouldn't recommend it. If guests have to do all that cleaning, they might as well stay at home or book an Airbnb.

The ocean views are wonderful, and the rooms are spotless and well supplied. We're staying here now and have found it such a welcoming place for travellers. Thank you 🙏

The bathroom was a highlight, with great water pressure, and the room smelled fresh and clean rather than musty like some places. We stayed one night and felt it was very good for the price. We didn't have much chance to judge the service, but the food recommendations we received were helpful.
