The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort

The staff at The Sebel were so warm and welcoming, and my family and I are very grateful for their hospitality. We found the accommodation comfortable and well appointed. Our morning walk up the hill with the deer and roos was a highlight, as was the traditional sauna in the afternoon. We’d recommend it in any season!

The room was immaculate and well looked after, and the facilities helped make this a fantastic stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout. It was peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful views that made the visit extra special. We’d definitely stay again.

There’s plenty for all ages to do here, with mini golf, basketball, tennis courts, pools, a spa, sauna, gym, kayaks, and handy laundry facilities. We returned to this resort in 2026, eight years after our first visit. It has apartments as well as boutique-sized chalets that are well maintained and set up for families. The food was good too: the dinner menu had a nice range of choices, and breakfast was a delicious buffet with plenty of options. One disappointment was that most games room activities required payment before you could use them, especially when so many other facilities were included. Still, it’s a wonderful spot for a family holiday.

Pinnacle Valley is beautiful and peaceful. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon, you can see deer and kangaroos hopping around on the grounds or nearby. The restaurant food is reasonably priced compared with pubs and restaurants, at least by Melbourne standards. Just note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday nights, so you’ll need to eat or buy dinner before you return. The nearest supermarket in Mansfield is about a 20-minute drive away.
