Such a lovely, quiet spot in a beautiful part of Victoria. The outdoor bath was a great touch, and we loved the location. When we arrived, there was homemade bread and jam, plus milk in the fridge for the morning, handy since the local shop closes at 6pm. The fireplace was ready to light, with plenty of cut wood. We’d recommend this stay and hope to come back.

Mountford Cottage was spotlessly clean, and we had a beautiful stay. The outdoor bath felt luxurious, and the fire pit was fantastic with a glass of wine. Breakfast provisions lasted us three mornings, and the little condiments you tend to forget on holiday were already there. Paula’s communication was exceptional. If you love golf, the course is a short drive away. Can’t wait to visit again.

The bed was really comfortable, with quality linen, and the kitchen was a delight to use. After exploring the area, Mountford Cottage was a lovely place to return to. We appreciated the breakfast provisions, too. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming touches, spotless condition, and stylish decor and furnishings made us happy we’d booked. It’s picture perfect, and we’d love to return one day.

We’ll definitely return. Mountford Cottage was beautiful, relaxing, and very comfortable, and the peaceful setting made it easy to unwind. The hosts had added little extras that made us feel so welcome.

The home itself was lovely, but the location was a real disappointment. Nothing was within walking distance, and the house sat in a developing estate with no character. We booked six nights but left after three. The host didn’t seem to care.
