Lydia in the restaurant and Rose at reception have always looked after us so well. They're welcoming, courteous and professional every time, and Lydia knows the local area and its wine history exceptionally well. Her suggestions for day trips have been very helpful. Across our many stays over the last three years, though, there have been several changes in management and chefs, and the experience has felt inconsistent. Restaurant hours and menus have shifted a lot. Last year, the only option was a degustation menu, which isn't to my taste and left us eating elsewhere for variety on a multi-night stay. I'm glad it had been dropped by our latest visit. For a hotel right by the beautiful King Valley, I also expected a wine list with more local options. I travel around regional Victoria for work, and my wife and I have stayed here many times. She has a hospitality background and likes to get to know the managers and chefs wherever we go. There's a lot going for this property, and we hope more stability will help it reach its potential.

Liv, the events coordinator, really understood our vision for the wedding and was amazing with her communication and knowledge. Everyone working during our weekend stay checked in to see if we were all right or needed anything. The rooms were tidy and clean, with the amenities taken care of, and the restaurant and pool were lovely extras. We held our wedding at the Lancemore Milawa recently, and the venue itself is absolutely stunning. We'd definitely stay again.

Breakfast was delicious and included, and the staff were wonderful throughout. Our room was beautiful, spotless and stylish, just like the photos, while the whole hotel had a luxurious feel and lovely styling. The bed was so comfortable, honestly a dream. I'd recommend Lancemore without hesitation.

We loved the sauna, and there were lots of places around the relaxing grounds to sit with a glass of wine, lounge by the pool or enjoy the rooftop views. We spent a couple of nights here for a quick reset, and it was even better than I expected. The staff gave us service above and beyond, and were the friendliest people we've dealt with.

The staff were the best part, attentive to every detail and clearly happy in their jobs. We had bugs in the room, but staff sorted that out quickly. The walls were thin, so some neighbours were loud. Even with those issues, this was the best hotel experience I've had. The area was phenomenal, with lots of delicious food and things to do despite the heat. Definitely recommend.
