The bathroom worked really well for my mother, who has mobility issues, and she appreciated that. We also loved the lavender shower products. The Olive Cabin was clean and well equipped, with lovely gardens and plenty of veranda space for a cuppa or a bit of quiet time. We stayed for a weekend and found Stu & Jo very considerate hosts. Sitting outside, listening to the birds and taking in the countryside was so relaxing. We’re hoping to come back next year, try the Sunset Cabin, and stay longer. It was a lovely country weekend, and a reminder of how much we enjoy our beautiful country when we’re somewhere this comfortable.

We were disappointed that the music festival was cancelled, but still had a wonderful weekend in Boonah. The Old Church is such a beautiful, peaceful place, and Stu and Jo were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was lovely, and Stu was always happy to help. Cathy, Carmel and Judy are already planning another trip. A big thank you to Stu and Jo.

Stuart really went out of his way to make our stay special. Our room was comfortable, the amenities were great, and the setting was quiet and beautiful. The Old church has lots of charm. Highly recommend.

We were there for two nights while attending a wedding. The host, Stuart, was friendly and helpful without getting in the way. Breakfast was continental, with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, fruit and preserves ready for us to enjoy whenever suited us. Tea and coffee were available around the clock, and Stuart arranged non-dairy milk when we asked with a little notice. Our room was warm and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The electric blanket came in handy on those very cold nights. We also had a small balcony where we could have tea and watch the birds in the beautiful garden.

Breakfast was a huge surprise, there was an incredible spread waiting for us when we got up. We had a lively, really interesting conversation with some fabulous people there too. The room was lovely, and from our little balcony we had the best view of the September blood moon eclipse. Honestly, the photos don’t do the place justice. Stu and Jo have made it feel really special. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality and for such an out of the box experience, we couldn’t have wished for more. Nina and Nic 💜
