Sfera Park Suites & Convention Centre

The location and rooms are lovely, but our stay was a comedy of errors from start to finish. During a small wedding service in the Atrium room, a cleaner started mopping as the bride entered. While the couple were saying their vows, another cleaner began working near the sidling doors, making it hard to hear them. My husband had to ask him to stop. Later, we stayed the night and ordered room service. There was no cutlery with the food, and neither reception nor the restaurant answered our calls, so we left messages. I went down to explain and ask for a refund, but they insisted the cutlery had already been left in the room. We had looked and found only spoons, yet they made me feel foolish. I waited 10 minutes in the restaurant before anything was resolved, and no one apologized. They even offered to recharge the food, which seemed like poor food hygiene. The point of room service is that you don’t have to leave your room. With the wedding disruption, the missing cutlery, and no one answering the phone, I wouldn’t recommend staying here, however nice the rooms are.

The cafe was a nice part of the stay, with good food, wine, and friendly staff. I also liked the free coffee machine in the foyer. My queen room had a balcony and was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and great shower pressure. There was an Indian festival in the park behind the property, so it got a little noisy in the evening, though it finished by 9pm. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The live music at island paradise was lovely, especially with the park in view. I really enjoyed the cafe downstairs too, and would definitely go back.

The rooms were spacious, and the food was good with reasonable prices. It’s in a quiet spot, with Westfield shopping centre easy to get to.
