We haven’t looked at staying anywhere else in 16 years because this place suits us so well. It’s quiet, clean, relaxed and convenient, and the staff are friendly. We usually stay at the back of the property, which is very quiet and closer to the beach. It’s one block back from the main beach esplanade, and Coles is a five-minute walk away, along with other shops including a Bakers Delight. We do our shopping there as soon as we arrive. The rooms have all the essentials: a microwave, hotplates, kettle, toaster and electric frypan, plus plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans, and small food containers. There’s a washer and dryer with a laundry tub. The walk-in shower has great pressure, and the shampoo, conditioner and hand soap are nice little touches. A hidden gem I highly recommend.

Claire was lovely, helpful and easy to communicate with, and we were very comfortable here. Our one-bedroom apartment had plenty of space, was clean and had everything we needed for our 18-month-old and us. The balcony looked over a lovely garden, and the swimming pool was lovely too. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the beach, supermarket and all the main areas. We’ll definitely stay again.

It looked as though this might be a noisy spot, but traffic never bothered us. The rooms have recently been renovated and were clean, comfortable and well equipped. They’re set up for solo travellers or couples, with no rooms for kids. Staff were friendly and happy to help with requests. It’s a great little place, just a very short walk from the esplanade and The Wharf. Nearly forgot the excellent covered parking, which is great in a vicious hailstorm.

You can leave the car parked once you arrive, since everything is so close. The location is prime. The style looks a little 80s, but the rooms are nice, and the pool and spa are a bonus. We stayed for the weekend and would definitely recommend it for a nice couples’ getaway.

Claire is amazing, and the staff are unbeatable. Everything was clean and tidy, with everything close by. We’ll definitely come back. Five stars from us!
