Our stay in Room 303 was extremely disappointing. The bathroom was terribly dirty, and even a new toilet brush would have been welcome. The air conditioning vent was disgusting. I have a chronic autoimmune disease and was coughing and struggling to breathe, and now my husband is having sinus trouble too. There was no ventilation because the door was locked. We managed to open it, only to find balls of dust coming from under the bed. I’m not sure the room had been cleaned at all before we arrived. We couldn’t find the staff easily. When we went to complain about several things, they said they’d come and look, but I’m home now and still waiting. We stayed at Cilento in March 2022 and had a wonderful time, but after the lack of care from staff and the state of Room 303, I can’t recommend this hotel to anybody.
