Direct Collective - Seabreeze Mooloolaba

I booked this place at the last minute for an overnight stay because of the location and reasonable cost, and was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was spacious and modern, with a good sized balcony. There’s construction nearby, but it didn’t bother me or affect my sleep. The bed was comfy, and the ceiling fans and air conditioning were great. I noticed the silicone in the bathrooms could be redone, but it didn’t affect my stay. I’d stay here again. It’s a very short walk to the esplanade!

We had a spacious two-bedroom apartment with plenty of room to move around, and it was very clean. The beach was only about a two-minute walk away. Lovely place to stay.

The beds kept rolling all over the room, so they really need wheels that can lock. Apart from that, it was a great place in a good location and was kept in decent condition.

We were fortunate to find a last-minute room when most places along the Mooloolaba Esplanade were booked out. Our superior room was spacious, had a modern look, and one bathroom had a large mirror with good lighting. There’s no pool, and an ocean view isn’t guaranteed. The hotel is a few places back from the Esplanade, rather than right on it. The parking spot was assigned to us, which was useful, but the car park was so narrow and small that turning was difficult. The room’s upkeep was the biggest letdown. It was dusty, the teapot had dirty water in it, the fridge was badly marked, and there was mould on the blinds. The shower was filthy and mouldy, the water pressure was low, and the shower head kept falling down. There were dents and marks on the walls, the bin hadn’t been cleared after the previous guests, and there was a slight unpleasant smell. The TV in the bedroom was so tiny I may as well have used my iPad. It was disappointing to find a decent-sized room maintained so poorly. With so many marks and problems already there, how would anyone keep track of new damage? This was the dirtiest accommodation I’ve stayed in.
