When you need somewhere to sleep for the night, this old place with plenty of character feels like heaven. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in, apart from my own. After a hard day out, the food was magnificent, and Moonabel locals were amazing. The publican was a legend, and all the patrons were friendly and inviting. Brilliant stay.

We stopped here on our way back to Melbourne and had a cozy, comfortable night in clean accommodation. Stewart the owner gave us a warm welcome, and we had a yummy dinner by the fire. It's a charming country pub and motel in a perfect Pyrynees location. If you're after exceptional hospitality, this is it. Thanks, Stewart, we'll be back again!

On my way to a friend's wedding, I stayed here recently and absolutely loved it. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to other people.

The rooms are pretty basic, though reasonable for the price. Food is tasty pub grub and fairly priced, and the regulars are welcoming to outsiders. A great little pub-motel in the middle of nowhere.

We were there for one night while attending a function at a local winery. Stuart and his family were entertaining and good company, and from the moment we arrived they made us feel like family. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. After a long day, the delicious meal was just what we needed. Cooked Brekky and tea/coffee were included and on the table as soon as we sat down. The deck outside was a beautiful spot to eat. A very welcoming place to stay. If you don't need luxury but want value and first class treatment, you can't go past this place.
