Mossman Resort Holiday Villas

The host was friendly, and the stand-alone cabins are self-contained. Inside they were tidy and fairly well maintained, though the exteriors looked neglected. Our room wasn’t the one we’d booked, and the view from its window was shabby. The cabins beside the road get noisy with traffic and heavy vehicles all night. At $225, it was overpriced for what you get.

Such a nice place, and it even had loads of useful things, like cooking utensils and shaving cream in the bathroom. I’d definitely recommend it and come back again. Five star place, so nice.

I was an hour early, but reception said the room was nearly ready and let me wait by the pool. They even opened the bar so I could have a beer. The staff were super friendly, and I had a nice chat with the owner, who let me know as soon as the room was ready. Then I walked into a huge, spotless room that smelled awesome. What an oasis in Mossman! I’m here for work every eight weeks for three nights, and I won’t stay in Port Douglas again. Don’t hesitate, just book a fantastic cabin. You won’t be disappointed.

My sister and I have stayed at Mossman Resort Holiday Villas twice, and we’re heading back for a third visit. The place is well maintained, the facilities are good, and the villas have everything you need. If something’s missing, it’s likely in the communal kitchen. After a day out, the pool and shared kitchen area are lovely places to spend time. The staff were great and happy to share tips about the surrounding area and places to eat. Highly recommend it.
