Paul and Steve are warm, informative hosts, and the gardens and outdoor spaces are just as beautifully kept as the interiors and shared guest areas. Closeburn House was a trip highlight, with exceptional accommodation, cleanliness, food and drink. It’s good value too, close to quaint towns and stunning natural sights. What a find. A blissful stay I hope to repeat soon. Thanks, Paul and Steve.

We came to Closeburn for a friend’s wedding and had a beautiful stay. The breakfast was amazing, the beds were very, very comfortable, and Paul and Steve are the loveliest people. We’ll definitely stay again!!! Xxxxx Daisy

Paul and Steve were attentive throughout our stay, with a level of care that’s rare to find. They made us two delicious breakfasts themselves, paying attention to every detail. The room was spotless and cozy, thoughtfully heated, and the bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. Closeburn House is a lovely place near the Blue Mountains for a relaxing weekend. Paul and Steve have carefully restored this historic property, keeping its distinctive architectural details while bringing it back to life. The charming house and meticulously tended gardens both feel full of warmth and care. If work or life has you feeling overwhelmed, it’s a great place to unwind, recharge and reconnect with yourself.

A last-minute cancellation gave us the chance to book Closeburn House just minutes after it became available. We were so lucky. Paul even offered us a generous lift to the train station when we checked out. ❤️ The house is beautifully maintained and run by Paul and Steve, who are genuinely lovely. It feels like a home close to nature. The scent when you walk in is divine, and I’m still dreaming about it. Everything was immaculate, the bed felt like a cloud, and the healthy breakfast was a lovely bonus that tasted made with love. That lucky booking turned our unplanned long weekend into a blissful retreat. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Paul and Steve. Till next time!

The staff who run this beautiful, comfortable place are its greatest asset. Paul and Steve gave us amazing service and such warm hospitality. We felt respected and important as guests, and the welcome was so kind. Breakfast was excellent, more than we expected, and the accommodation and staff made us very happy. We loved everything about this wonderful home. The experience felt special, and I feel incredibly blessed and privileged to have shared it. Thank you for the chance to stay here, Paul and Steve.
