The chalet is a very clean, well-stocked little house, set back from the main road so there was no traffic noise. It was comfortable, and picking up and dropping off the key was the easiest I've ever had. It's a handy base for Lake Pedder, the Gordon Dam, and Mt Field. The layout is straightforward. The front door opens into the lounge, with a three-person couch and rocking chair facing the TV, and a heater at the side. The two-single room and double-bed room are immediately to the right. Straight ahead is a square hall, with the bathroom to the left, master bedroom to the right, and kitchen ahead. Past the kitchen are the toilet and laundry.
